QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES – VXI Global Holdings B.V. Phils., a leader in customer experience (CX) management, donated 2,000 casting kits to the Mabuhay Deseret Foundation to assist in the treatment of children with clubfoot condition as part of their ongoing support for the foundation’s mission to perform corrective surgery on underprivileged children.

VXI was able to raise a total amount of PHP 1,012,667.99 (USD 20,000) from across all its Philippine sites, which is equivalent to 2,000 clubfoot correction casting kits.

“We at Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, greatly appreciate your donation of 2,000 casting kits,” Mabuhay Deseret Executive Administrator Franco Cajumban said “Your continuous help will enable us to perform life-changing work as we assist them, brighten their smiles, and restore their dignity.”

Each casting kit allows Mabuhay Deseret’s free clubfoot program to use the Ponseti method of correcting clubfoot which requires changing the position of the leg or foot by degrees through weekly plaster casting.

Mabuhay Deseret is the largest surgical charity in the Philippines and has been around for 32 years. One of their most essential services is their clubfoot program which treats babies born with clubfoot. This is a treatable condition if not for poverty which is a big obstacle for many.
